day off

i'm spending the day in atlanta with my family. this means a few things:

1. plenty of scotch and sodas
2. plenty of opportunities to expound upon my failures in love with wise, caring women
   
3. plenty of sister time (she'll be wise someday)
4. a free car tune-up, courtesy of weldon "welding rod" elrod
   
5. a little time away from gabe "i go to the upstairs bar at walker's" shaukat and wade "this isn't our goddamn song" wisdom. unfortunate, but we'll have plenty of time together in the future, so... you know. it's ok.

we leave for n'awlins on monday. there's not too much time between now and then. for now, i'm enjoying what i've got.
